Getting Started
Creating an OPay account is simple and takes just a few minutes. Download the OPay mobile app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store, then follow these steps: 1) Enter your phone number and verify it with the SMS code, 2) Provide your basic information (name, email, date of birth), 3) Create a secure PIN, 4) Verify your identity by uploading a valid ID document, 5) Your account will be activated once verification is complete.
To verify your OPay account, you need a valid government-issued photo ID such as a National ID card, International Passport, or Driver's License. The document should be clear, not expired, and the information should match what you provided during registration.
OPay is currently available in 12 African countries including Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Senegal, Ivory Coast, and Malawi. We are continuously expanding to new markets. Check our website or app for the most up-to-date list of supported countries.
While OPay is primarily designed as a mobile app, you can access basic services through USSD codes on any mobile phone. However, for the full range of features and the best user experience, we recommend using the smartphone app.
